1. My yoga class kicks ass. I should do it every day, really. It makes me feel really emotional for some reason, when I'm done and driving home. I think my body and mind are not so much in touch right now. They may be pen pals but they're not down. Still, it's a good experience all and all.
2. I find I have reached a Zen place wherein I'm good with whichever Democratic candidate gets the nomination. The sight of John McCain and his dead-eyed wife up there last night fired me up such and reminded me so much of how I felt in 2000 AND 2004 (read: fired up. angry. incredulous.) that no matter which person it is, as I told my friend Liza, I'll drive borrowed school buses to get people to the polls to beat him.
3. Learning that there's an Operation Smile mission in Hanoi when I'm going to be there. This could be good.
4. My silver shoes were complimented several times. I enjoy my silver shoes.
5. I received a small gift of completely delightful candy. How nice is it when non-scary people randomly give you candy?
6. There will be hockey on Sunday. I haven't been to a game in a long time.
7. And finally, and most delightfully of all, the Raising Sand show is coming here, and I'll be in town. I'm supposed to actually be engaged in work at the time these tickets go on sale on Friday, but I'm going to have to excuse myself and find wireless. I realize this lessens the likelihood of a Zeppelin tour, but does not rule out the possibility of a one-off reunion show in BALTIMORE. Long shot, but without hope and faith...yeah, I know.
